We would like to inform you that the former PEQ Solutions LLC has recently changed its name to PQ Solutions LLC. As part of this change, we have updated our company logo and corporate design to reflect the new name and our website URL has changed to pqs.ch.

We would like to inform you that the former PEQ Solutions LLC has recently changed its name to PQ Solutions LLC (shorthand PQS). As part of this change, we have updated our company logo and corporate design to reflect the new name and our website URL has changed to pqs.ch. The name change has no other impact on you, you can still find us at Konradstrasse 12, 8005 Zurich and contact us at the usual email addresses (firstname.lastname@pqs.ch).

Our origin and founding company PEQ LLC, of which PQ Solutions was originally part, is not affected by this change and can be found as usual on the website peqsolutions.ch.

We kindly ask you to make any necessary adjustments regarding this change.

Submission of Forms 1042-S through IDES for Foreign Filers

With this newsletter, we would like to inform you about the IRS announcement of May 4, 2026, which introduced a new registration system for foreign filers in IDES (International Data Exchange System) enabling foreign filers to obtain a IDES TCC for the submission of Forms 1042-S after the upcoming FIRE (Filing Information Returns Electronically) Retirement by the end of 2026.
